Jennie Abella, After-School Fun
Ms. Jennie Abella received her bachelors degree in Kinesiology majoring in Community Physical Education in 2003 and received my Masters in Education, with a focus on Urban Youth Development in 2005 @ the University of Illinois-Chicago. I have been working at Ray School as an after school program coordinator and lunch/recess supervisor for over 9 years. I have a deep passion working with kids and a great desire to help them reach their fullest potential so they can become successful in whatever they do.

Roberta Gamboa, Case Manager

Brenda Rogers, Counselor/Case-Manager
Ms. Rogers is the Counselor/Case-Manager at Ray. She works closely with parents, teachers, and administrators to help students become life-long learners and responsible, caring and productive members of society. Her counseling philosophy is to approach each situation in a holistic manner addressing each student’s academic, personal and social needs. Mrs. Rogers is a National Board Certified Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Illinois. Mrs. Rogers attended Northeastern IL University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in special education. She went on to earn Master’s Degrees in Special Education, Educational Leadership, and School Counseling from Northeastern IL University, as well as a Nursing Degree from Ivy Tech College, Valparaiso Indiana.
